Special Olympics Bowling at Digger’s College City Bowl

THE RULES: If interested in participating in the Special Olympics sports program, you MUST have ALL paperwork returned to the MCSRA office by the deadlines. All athletes must abide by the behavior policy set by MCSRA.  No walk-in registrations will be accepted. All athletes must wear a mask while being transported in MCSRA vehicles.  All athletes must have their own masks available. Hand sanitizer will be provided for athletes to use before the entrance into the practice and games and after the practice and games are complete.  MCSRA staff reserves the right to determine the appropriateness of participants for this program.

Come bowl at Digger’s College City Bowl with us every Thursday and have fun trying to get a turkey and practice for the Special Olympics Bowling competition!

GOALS/OBJECTIVES: This program is designed to assist the participants to improve their socialization skills, improve their gross motor skills, and increase their interaction with peers.

Dates: Thursdays - July 6 through September 14

Fee: R: $70.00/NR: $90.00 per session – Fee includes practice until regionals competition September 14, 2023.  If athletes advance to the State competition, there will be an additional $30.00 fee to cover additional practices and travel to the state competition in December.

Time: 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM

Location: Digger’s College City Bowl – 123 East Adams, Macomb, IL.

Deadline to Register and payment due: July 1, 2023

Minimum Participants: 5

Maximum Participants: 20
