Special Olympics and Bowling Buddies combined at Digger’s Bowl

START PREPARATION FOR SPECIAL OLYMPICS BOWLING! To help with preparing for the bowling season, come bowl at Digger’s Bowl with us every Thursday.  You can practice for Special Olympics and count your score or just bowl for fun and try to get a turkey!  You MUST pay and register for this program before the registration date to ensure the registration for the session. 

GOALS/OBJECTIVES: This program is designed to assist the participants to improve their socialization skills, improve their gross motor skills, and increase their interaction with peers.

Dates: Every Thursday –July 21st through September 29, 2022

Time: 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM

Location: Digger’s Bowl, Macomb, Illinois  

Deadline to Register and payment due:  July 1, 2022

Fee: R: $70.00/NR: $75.00 – For Special Olympics Bowling, the fee takes the athlete through the Regionals competition.  If the athlete advances through to the sectionals, they will pay an additional $30.00 fee for the practice times towards Sectional competition.  If the athlete advances to State competition, then they will pay an additional $30.00 fee for additional practice times towards the State competition.  These fees cover practice time, staff costs, and travel expenses to the competitions.

Regionals competition - September 22, 2022 – Moline, Illinois

Sectionals competition – October 30, 2022 – Moline, Illinois

State competition – December 3, 2022 – Peoria, Illinois

The Special Olympics Singles Bowling competitions are as follows:

Regionals competition - October 2, 2022 – Moline, Illinois

Sectionals competition – October 30, 2022 – Moline, Illinois

State competition – December 3, 2022 – Peoria, Illinois
